As a grape enthusiast, I have always been captivated by the cool, sweet burst of flavor that explodes in your mouth when you bite into the small fruit. However, it wasn’t until I was in my late twenties that I discovered the magic of wine.
My love for wine was ignited during a visit to the Malibu Wines Tasting Room, nestled in the hills above Malibu. It was the perfect venue to enjoy wine, music, and friendships. I started with a tasting and quickly fell in love with a white dessert wine called Orange Muscat. Its sweet, fruity, and citrus flavors were simply irresistible.
On warm summer nights, chilled bottles of this delicious adult beverage emptied quickly while local bands played and the sun dipped behind the mountains. However, tragedy struck when the Woolsey Fire ripped through the hills and destroyed the property, including the tasting room.
But the party didn’t stop there. Malibu Family Wines opened a new location, the Malibu Wines & Beer Garden, which still serves their exquisite wines. They have a range of red wines, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Merlot, Syrah, and Pinot Noir. Their white wines include Riesling, Chardonnay, and Moscato, and they have a variety of Rosé wines to choose from. …and they also have Beer!
The new tasting room is located in a beautiful spot in West Hills, offering stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to gather with friends and family, sip on some exceptional wines, and enjoy the Southern California weather.
In conclusion, Malibu Family Wines has something for everyone, from sweet dessert wines to bold reds and crisp whites. The Malibu Wines & Beer Garden is a fantastic spot to enjoy a glass or bottle of wine. So, if you’re a wine lover like me, make sure to add Malibu Family Wines to your list of must-visit wineries in Southern California.
